Moss apparently finished her first Scientology course at the age of eight, and she has since appeared on the cover of Celebrity magazine, the organization’s journal that is reportedly only available to hardcore members.
Moss has only acknowledged her belief in it on a few occasions. While she stated that she is always willing to have an off-the-record conversation with someone, she also stated that she does not feel the need to explain her beliefs to others.
The actress did made a rare defense of her religion on Instagram after being nominated for Best Actress at the 2017 Emmys for her portrayal in The Handmaid’s Tale.
