Cale Douglas Makar is a Canadian defenseman who plays in the National Hockey League for the Colorado Avalanche.
At the 2017 NHL Entry Draft, the Avalanche picked him with the fourth overall pick.
Makar helped the Avalanche win the Stanley Cup in 2022, and he was voted the most valuable player in the 2021-2022 playoffs, earning him the Conn Smythe Trophy.
