Austin Derek Aldridge, who lived in Spartanburg, South Carolina, and was 25 years old, died at work on Tuesday, June 21, 2022. He was a Deputy First Class for the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office.

The funeral for Austin Derek Aldridge has left Floyd’s Mortuary in the centre of Spartanburg and is going to Moore’s Church at the Mill.
After leaving E. St. John St., the parade went on John B. White Sr. Blvd./Reidville Rd. It turns left onto Anderson Mill Road and goes into the Church at the Mill parking lot.

Friends and family of Spartanburg County Deputy Austin Aldridge have set up a GoFundMe page. Tuesday, Deputy Aldridge was shot and killed on the job. He was only 25 years old.
They are also thankful for the prayers that have been said for them. Austin’s funeral was held at the Church at the Mill, 4455 Anderson Mill Road, Moore, South Carolina, 29369, on Sunday, June 26, 2022, at 4:00 p.m.
Pastor Bill Morris and the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office were in charge of the ceremony. Austin’s family respectfully asks that this memorial service be kept private and only attended by close family members, close friends, and law enforcement.

Austin Derek Aldridge was born in Greenville County on May 20, 1997. After graduating from Wren High School in 2016, he went to North Greenville University.
After getting his law enforcement certification from the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy, he started working for the Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office on April 8, 2019.
