On Monday, the Honolulu Police Commission unanimously chose former National Guard Maj. Gen. Arthur “Joe” Logan to be the city’s next police chief.
Logan, a 20-year veteran of the HPD who currently works as a criminal investigator for the Hawaii Attorney General’s Office, was selected from a field of more than 20 candidates.
