The journalist earned a bachelor’s degree in English and a diploma in African-American studies from Georgetown University in 2009. She was inspired to become a civil rights journalist by the African-American journalist Gwen Ifill. He was also a member of the All-NBA squad 15 times, the NBA All-Defensive Team 11 times, and the NBA All-Star team a record 19 times. He participated on six NBA championship teams as a player.
