Anwan Glover: Who is he? Why his son was shot and murdered?
Kavan Glover, 26, a rapper and actor, was shot and killed last weekend in Washington, D.C.
Kavan was found with a gunshot wound in the 12800 block of William Beans Road where the incident took place. It was established that he was Anwan’s son when he was declared dead on the scene, despite earlier rumours to the contrary.
Police are offering a reward of $25,000 to anyone with information regarding a suspect. Authorities are right now looking into what caused the tragedy.

Charles was a former enforcer for Proposition Joe and Barksdale’s drug trafficking groups as well as the co-chairman of the New Day Co-Op. From the third to the fifth season, Slim Charles had a significant role.

He is well-known for being the leader of the go-go band BackYard Band and is also known as Ralph Anwan Glover. His portrayal of Slim Charles on The Wire earned him praise.
Glover joined the cast of The Wire in 2003 and quickly rose to fame as a member of the BackYard. He has appeared in the music videos for Chillin by Wale and Dem Boyz by Boyz n the Hood. On 93.9 WKYS-FM, he is the host of a radio programme.
The first three episodes of the HBO drama series Treme starred the 51-year-old as convicted murderer Keevon White. The programme, which aired for four seasons from 2010 to 2013, received plaudits for the quality of its acting and accurate depiction of New Orleans culture.
Intake into the New York Film Academy has been granted to Anwan. Additionally, he is producing the George Pelecanos-written movie Shoedog.
He has had some personal problems despite being a well-known figure; in August 2014, he was attacked and stabbed in a bar and received some minor injuries.
