According to his sister Arlene Supan, Barangay Alasas leader Alvin Mendoza was leaving his house at 7:00 a.m. when the shooting event occurred. Mendoza was in his vehicle, on his way to Brgy. Maglinam, when the suspects on a motorbike attacked him along Purok 3 in the same barangay, according to him. According to officials, he was immediately rushed to the San Fernando Hospital for medical care but was pronounced dead upon arrival.
