Ivana Trump, the first wife of Donald Trump, the 45th president of the United States, died on July 14 from a heart arrest. She had just turned 73. Ivana, the mother of Trump’s three children, passed away at her New York City home, the president-elect revealed on his Truth Social website.

According to The Washington Post, the couple’s two-year marriage was more of a “cold war marriage” that took place because she only “wanted her independence” from the then-communist government of Czechoslovakia. Her marriage was dissolved in August 1973 after she emigrated to Canada in September 1972.
