Brandon Wu’s Career
Through his whole high school career, Wu was a member of the swim team at his boarding school, Deerfield Academy, located in Massachusetts.
Between 2015 and 2019, he was a student at Stanford University, where he also participated in college golf competitions for the Stanford Cardinal men’s golf team. They were victorious in the NCAA Division I Men’s Golf Championship during his senior season.
Both the 2019 Walker Cup and the 2019 Arnold Palmer Cup were competitions that Wu participated in. The 2019 Pan American Games mixed team competition was won by him and his teammates Stewart Hagestad, Emilia Migliaccio, and Rose Zhang. They took home the gold medal.

In 2019, Wu made the transition from amateur to professional status and earned conditional qualification for the 2020 Korn Ferry Tour by finishing tied for 61st place in the 2019 Korn Ferry Tour Final Qualifying Tournament. It was not until the 13th tournament of the season, the Price Cutter Charity Championship, that he made his first start. There, he finished tied for ninth place and earned enough points to climb the priority ranking and compete in four tournaments that provided entrance based on the points list.
