Lil Tjay (NY rapper): What Happened To Him?
Lil TJay, an American rapper, was shot and injured on Wednesday, June 22, in the Edgewater neighborhood of New Jersey. After the claimed gunshot, law enforcement sources disclosed that the rapper was sent to the hospital for emergency surgery, but they did not disclose the severity of his wounds or the extent of the damage he sustained. Reports suggest that TJay, whose true name is Tione Merritt, is doing better than before and is anticipated to recover in the near future. However, it is believed that he is still in a critical condition. According to the first available information, there were two shootings that evening.

Bronx.news12.com states that the authorities have detained Mohamed Konate, 27, of New York City on accusations of armed robbery and attempted murder and accuses the guy of firing at the rapper. These allegations stem from the fact that the man is accused of trying to kill the rapper. They also recognized two of Tjay’s pals who were with him at the time of the shooting: Jeffrey Valdez, who is 24 years old, and Antoine Boyd, who is 22 years old. Tjay was injured as a result of multiple rounds fired by Konate, as well as one fired by Boyd. One of the victims is shown on surveillance video from an Exxon station on River Road that has not yet been made public. The video shows the victim being transferred from a white security car to an ambulance after they had been removed from the vehicle. This is the identical automobile that drives around the City Place neighborhood. Peter Ditkas and Luigi Mancini, both of whom were seniors in high school at the time, were the ones who first noticed this man “He was slouched down in the back seat, doing nothing in particular. We speculated that he had been drinking.”
If Konate is found guilty, the least serious allegations against him are three counts of attempted murder and one act of armed robbery. However, according to the prosecution, Tjay’s associates Valdez and Boyd were also arrested following the event on accusations of possessing guns and were both being held in the Bergen County Jail.
