When Tyre Sampson died on March 24, he fell from the FreeFall ride at Orlando’s ICON Park amusement park and died. His funeral was on April 9, 16 days after his death. Two weeks before the funeral, YK said on Instagram, “If anyone knows his family, tell them to DM me because I want to pay for his funeral cost.”
A few hours after Tyre was laid to rest on Saturday, his brother, who goes by the name Jrocc Jr on social media, said that the artist, YK, never gave money to the teen’s funeral expenses. He said that he was just using the tragedy to get some attention and not to help the family.
