Poncho, who is on the case for his brother’s murder, makes an appearance at a fire station in a Mexico City area. Olivia, his colleague and the sole female firefighter at the station, joins him as he conducts his investigation while acting as an undercover firefighter.

Poncho will be portrayed by Mexican television actor Iván Amozurrutia in the Netflix original series High Heat. Poncho begins investigating his brother’s death, which brings him to a fire station where he starts operating covertly. His drive, resolve, and emotions as he pursues justice will be central to the show.
Previous telenovelas in which Amozurrutia has appeared include Médicos, Preso No. 1, and Enamorándome de Ramón. Additionally, he has made guest appearances in TV shows including La rosa de Guadalupe and Como dice el dicho.

Due to his lengthy career as an actor-singer in telenovelas, Eduardo is revered as an idol in the Latino community. Camila (1998), El Secreto (2001), Peregrina (2005–06), Pecadora (2009), Soy tu duea (2010), and La Otra Cara del Alma are only a few of his acting credits (2012-13).

In the Netflix crime drama, Esemeralda Pimentel, a Mexican actress and model, will play Olivia. At the fire station where Poncho starts his covert operations, Olivia is the only female fireman there. After realising his actual motives, she offers to help him with his inquiry.
2009 saw the start of Pimentel’s career with TV ads and promotions. She has appeared in the movies Ahi te Encargo (2019), El hubiera s existe (2019), and Viaje de generación (2012, 2017). (2020).
