The over-the-top (OTT) streaming release date and platform for the Tamil-language thriller Vikram have just been disclosed. The film is getting close to crossing the Rs 300 Crore mark.

VIKRAM: OTT STREAMING PLATFORM AND RELEASE DATE CONFIRMED
On May 4th, it was formally confirmed that Disney Plus Hotstar has obtained the rights to stream the Vikram movie via OTT platforms. These rights were formerly held by Netflix.
Following the initial post regarding the acquisition of the film’s OTT streaming rights that was published on the Twitter page for Disney Plus Hotstar Tamil, a follow-up post was also published on the Instagram account of Disney Plus Hotstar Tamil.
The streaming giant has at long last confirmed that Vikram will be made accessible for viewing via OTT services on Friday, July 8th. The announcement was made today, June 29th.
It’s interesting to note that the first Instagram post announced that in addition to the original Tamil version, Hotstar would also release dubbed versions of the show in the languages of Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada. We may now breathe a sigh of relief because the latest news regarding the debut on July 8 includes confirmation of these dubbed language options.
