Nicki, the title of Nicki Minaj’s new documentary series, has been teased. The series’ premiere date has not yet been disclosed by the singer of Anaconda fame. She did, however, mention that it would be available soon on social media.
Regarding the documentary, Minaj explained that there will be six episodes and that they would air on HBO Max.
Minaj penned the following caption on a post on social media:
“This doc is next level. I can assure you of that. I couldn’t be more delighted to have #HBOMAX on board to help me convey my tale in this sensitive & unforgettable way, a way that my fans will cherish forever.”
The rapper is seen in New York before becoming famous in the teaser that Minaj posted, which is followed by clips of her rising to fame.
During the video, Minaj is heard saying:
“There isn’t a guidebook on how to become a successful rapper. Simply pick it up as you go.
Kenneth Perry, Nicki’s husband, makes an appearance on camera and remarks that his wife is the strongest she has ever been.
During the video, Minaj is heard saying:
“Mainstream came to me. I never aspired to be mainstream.”
The video ends with the following message:
“A legend this real can only tell a narrative this honest.”
Michael John Warren, who has filmed documentary specials with Nicki Minaj in the past, was the series’ director. Warren gave a statement outlining the series:
“I love that this series not only gives an inside look at one of the most iconic musicians of our generation, it also profiles the brave woman behind the artist, Onika. I believe all of us can learn a great deal from her remarkable professional and personal life. It’s an honour to be entrusted with this dynamic story.”

The documentary series in which Nicki Minaj is featured is not her first. In 2010, the singer made an appearance in the Nicki Minaj: My Time Now documentary special on MTV. Minaj’s pickle juice speech, which went viral, made the programme famous. As a result of the show, Minaj gained a reputation as a role model for women aspiring to careers in entertainment.
