The story of Thony De La Rosa, a former surgeon who now works as a cleaning woman to support her sick kid, centers on the Fox television show titled “The Cleaning Lady.” Since Thony is an undocumented immigrant, she has to contend with a number of challenges in order to provide for her family in Las Vegas. Who precisely is this Robert Kamdar?
In the first episode of the second season of ‘The Cleaning Lady,’ titled ‘Sins of the Father,’ Robert Kamdar is presented to the audience for the first time. After Arman is arrested, Nadia has a difficult time gathering the necessary funds to post bail for him. She goes to Thony for assistance and ends up asking her for the funds that were stored on the bitcoin flash drive. However, as Thony is clearing out the account, Garrett freezes it, which causes Arman to run into some difficulties. As a direct consequence of this, Nadia is compelled to seek assistance from the loan shark Robert Kamdar.
The character of Robert Kamdar is portrayed by Naveen Andrews, an actor, in the series. In 1991, Andrews had his first appearance on the big screen in the movie “London Kills Me.” His portrayal of Jafar in “Once Upon a Time in Wonderland” and Jonas Maliki in “Sense8” are undoubtedly the roles that have brought him the most notoriety. It’s possible that some viewers will remember the actor from his role in the Hulu miniseries ‘The Dropout,’ in which he played the character Ramesh “Sunny” Balwani. For the upcoming second season of “The Cleaning Lady,” a series regular role for Andrews has been created for her in the show’s cast.
What Does Robert Hope to Accomplish With Arman?
In the second episode of the second season, Nadia approaches Robert with a financial request. Arman’s bail is set at a significant sum of money, and it appears that Robert is aware of the circumstances surrounding Arman. As a consequence of this, he takes use of his position to negotiate a favorable contract for himself. Robert requests a part in Arman’s gun company in exchange for the $1.6 million that is needed to post bail. Arman is a gun dealer. As a result of the imminent danger to Arman’s life, Nadia gives in to the arrangement, and Robert foots the bill for the bail.
Arman is released from jail in the third episode, at which point he and Robert meet to negotiate the business arrangement. Robert is denied the opportunity to become a partner in Arman’s firearms business. As a direct consequence of this, Robert offers an alternate. He assigns Arman the responsibility of recouping the funds from the individual to whom Robert had extended a loan. While all is going on, Robert is holding onto Nadia as collateral. It is found out that Robert is Nadia’s ex-boyfriend, and he makes an effort to restart his relationship with her. Arman does eventually come back with the money, but it is quite clear that Robert is not interested in the monetary gain.
Robert appears to have an interest in Nadia, and it’s likely that he wants to hire her for his company. During one scene in the show, Robert puts Nadia’s abilities to the test while giving the impression that he has romantic feelings for her. As a result, it is reasonable to assume that Robert has the intention of removing Nadia from the company of Arman. It seems likely that Robert will make an effort during the remaining episodes of the second season to put a wedge between Arman and Nadia. Whether or not Robert is successful in operating the husband and wife is something that can only be determined with the passage of time.
