The first installment of SPY x FAMILY was published at the beginning of 2022 and immediately became a phenomenon. It’s unlike anything else you’ve undoubtedly seen before because it’s a screwball spy comedy from the 1960s mixed with a ridiculous found-family (literally) comedy.
On top of that, we couldn’t help but fall in love with the strange and fascinating Forger family as soon as we met them in SPY x FAMILY. There is something for everyone to enjoy in this program, whether it is the super Spy (and super parent) instincts of Loid, the uncontrolled outbursts of expert assassin Yor, or the charming telepathic antics of Anya.

SPY x FAMILY: Cast
SPY x FAMILY part two will contain a significant portion of the same excellent voice cast as the first installment, with talented English and Japanese performers bringing a form full of lovable individuals to life. Additionally, WIT Studios and CloverWorks will keep up their tradition of working together to produce the show (a seriously impressive collaboration).

During her interview with ComicBook.com in July 2022 at AnimeExpo, Anya actress Megan Shipman provided insight into what makes her character stand apart from the rest.
“I believe what people find attractive about her, or what I found so endearing about her,” the woman added, “is the fact that she is a child that is genuinely a child.” “She is not like a person who is 10,000 years old but has the body of a five-year-old. She is not much older than a youngster. I believe that the fact that her mental process is that of a child, as well as the fact that she wrote so brilliantly as a youngster, is what makes her so endearing to people.”
SPY x FAMILY part 2 will also continue to be directed by anime legend Kazuhiro Furuhashi, whose previous works include the worldwide smash successes Hunter x Hunter (1999) and the multiple adaptations of Rurouni Kenshin. Furuhashi is most known for his work on SPY x FAMILY part 1.
SPY x FAMILY part 2: Plot
Since the first half of the first season of SPY x FAMILY spanned three volumes and seventeen chapters of the manga, as was previously said, the second half will cover a comparable amount of ground. This indicates that if you can’t wait to find out what happens next, there are lots of details available for you to find.
Without giving away too much of the story, volumes four through six of the manga show Anya, Loid, and Yor getting into various scrapes.
In the second episode of SPY x FAMILY, the Forgers will come to know their new family member, Bond, a large white dog with unexplained abilities that we saw in the pivotal moments of the first episode. Meanwhile, Anya will continue to face challenging tests at the elite school where she studies.
WISE agent Fiona Frost will finally be appearing in the show, which will excite readers of the original manga who were looking forward to seeing her. Fiona is Loid Forger’s protegé; she is easily identifiable by her lavender hairdo and long purple duffer jacket, which is quite the serve.
She has feelings for Loid that aren’t reciprocated and haven’t been spoken to him, which is unfortunate for our new favorite Family, but in all honesty, who could blame her? The ludicrous house of cards that is the dynamic of the Forger family is about to get even more precarious due to this new development, and we can’t wait to find out what comes next in this saga.

Spy x Family: Production
Spy x Family Season 2: When It Will Be Available, Where You Can Watch It, and Latest Studio News
Once more, there has yet to be any information made public about Spy x Family Season 2. On the contrary, it is quite improbable that the animation studio would make any changes from Season 1.
Wit Studio and CloverWorks have contributed to the production of Spy x Family so far. Kazuhiro Furuhashi, best known for directing the popular anime series Hunter x Hunter, is the director of this series.
Takuya Eguchi, who most recently portrayed Solei in That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime, lends his voice to the character of Loid Forger.
The well-known Saori Hayami provides the voice for Yor, and Atsumi Tanizaki, who previously portrayed Tome in the third season of Mob Psycho 100, gives life to Anya.
It is expected that both the opening and closing themes of Spy x Family Season 2 will be replaced with new music.
The song “Souvenir” by BUMP OF CHICKEN served as the introduction theme for Spy x Family Part 2. In the meantime, “Shikisai” by Yama was used as the most recent closing theme.
Spy vs. Family: Release Date and Time
The thirteenth episode of Spy x Family is scheduled to be released on October 1, 2022. Like all previous episodes, it will be available on the Crunchyroll website the following Sunday, October 2, 2022. Crunchyroll is the equivalent of Netflix in the world of anime. In addition, if the timing of the past twelve chapters is followed, we will have the subtitled version ready the next day at 8:30 a.m. PT/11:30 a.m. ET.
Will it be able to keep up the high level of excellence that was displayed in the first part? In October of this year, there will be a lot of other options to choose from. Spy x Family’s potential for success will be measured against that of the year’s other two major anime releases, namely the continuation of Bleach’s story and the gory reimagining of Chainsaw Man.

Spy vs. Family: Where To Watch?
It is always possible to hop on the bandwagon for the physical edition of Spy x Family because, as we often say, the universe of Westfalia and Ostania is just as much fun in the anime as it is in the manga. The same is true for the anime adaptation of the manga. The first chapter of the series was written by Tatsuya Endo in March 2019 and is one of at least the first three and the last three chapters that can be read for free on Manga Plus.
The series is still being published consistently and currently has 67 chapters. They can also be found in physical form due to the publisher Viz Media. In the United States, 8 of the nine volumes that make up the series have been released, and the most recent one arrived only a few days ago, on September 20. The series is comprised of 9 total volumes.
The manga’s storyline is identical to that of the anime, and its cast of characters has all of the same endearing quirks that made them famous in the first place. However, the manga contains a few unique panels and scenes that cannot be seen anywhere else before the release of episode 13 on October 2, 2022.

Spy vs. Family: Spoilers
Doggy Crisis Arc spans Chapters 18-23 of the manga and is the only arc officially announced to continue in Spy x Family Part 2 as of this writing. This storyline allows us to watch the Forger family work together to thwart a terrorist bombing strike. In addition, if you recall the previous season’s happenings, Anya requested a dog as a pet after she was given a Stella Star. In the following plot, you will finally be presented with the opportunity to meet the Forger family’s brand-new pet. All of this is demonstrated in the teaser that can be found up top.
Besides that, we can only hypothesize which plots will be kept for the second installment.
According to some fans, the Campbellton Tennis Arc will also be animated in the second half of the series. The story recounts the mission of agents Twilight and a spy with the codename Nightfall to obtain the painting that is part of the Zacharis Dossier. Their organization has acquired information indicating that the picture is hiding something that has the potential to start a conflict. Both agents have decided to compete in the tennis tournament to win the Zacharis Dossier, which may be redeemed for a prize if they win it.
The Great Cruise Adventure is another fan-favorite story arc, and people are hopeful that it will be included. In this story version, Yor is given the job of becoming a bodyguard rather than an assassin. Her mission is to keep a mother and boy safe from the hands of a team of highly trained killers. The unexpected turn in the story comes from the fact that Lord and Anya are also on the same cruise as Yor. As a result, Yor will have to carry out her duties without disclosing her true identity to Loid.
As of right now, it is still being determined which story arcs will be featured in Spy x Family Part 2; nevertheless, it is likely that there will be multiple. Despite this, you can rest assured that Spy x Family Part 2 will keep its endearing qualities while incorporating even more thrilling adventures and objectives.
