In 2018, Tessa Virtue and Scott Moir, two Olympic ice dancers, won the hearts of the people of the United States of America in PyeongChang. Because of the connection that they shared both on and off the rink, the fans kept coming back for more.
After skating together for more than twenty years, it is incredible that they have never even entertained the idea of dating each other. They have worked hard to maintain their connection over the years, which is an extremely rare occurrence.
Due to the strength of their friendship, it should not come as a surprise that they are the most decorated pair of Olympic figure skaters in the history of the sport, having won three gold medals and two silver medals between them.
Did Tessa And Scott Ever Date?
When they were younger, the two “dated” for a few months, but they were so terrified of each other that they couldn’t even look at each other when they were together!

At the Olympic Winter Games held in Vancouver in 2010, these two Canadian athletes won the gold medal. The following year, in 2014, they competed in the Olympics in Sochi and came in second place, falling short of the gold medal won by Meryl Davis and Charlie of the United States.

Tessa and Scott made the conscious decision to take a break from the ice, but they were unable to do so for a considerable amount of time. They were convinced that retirement was just around the corner, but they couldn’t bear the thought of not being able to skate with each other.
As they got ready for the Olympic Winter Games in Pyeongchang in 2018, they realized that coming back was something that came easily to them. This time around, they were skating for themselves rather than because they felt compelled to show off their abilities.
