After that, it was turned into a light novel and published by Micro Magazine, which brought out the first volume in July of 2016. Following his death in a car accident, the protagonist discovers that he has been reincarnated in another world as a sword. In October 2015, Yuu Tanaka launched the first installment of the series as a web novel that was hosted on Shsetsuka ni Nar. Llo was responsible for the illustrations in Micro Magazine’s light novel series, which they subsequently acquired and published under their GC Novels imprint. As of September 2022, there have been a total of fourteen volumes published. The limited edition of the fifth volume came packaged together with a drama CD that told its own unique story.
