Rapper T.I. allegedly punched Andrew Taggart in the face after Chainsmokers singer tried to KISS him

Andrew Taggart of The Chainsmokers recently said that rapper T.I. punched him in the face at a party when the singer of “Sick Boy” tried to kiss him on the cheek. Taggart had no idea that the Atlanta rapper would send him the song “Something Just Like This.”

Taggart, who is 32, said this in a video titled “When meeting TI goes wrong” that was posted to the group’s TikTok page on Tuesday, August 16. “T.I. just punched me right in the face,” he said. Even though the EDM producer laughs as he describes what happened in the video in a car, his meeting with the Atlanta rapper was a shock.

Why did they put TI in jail in Amsterdam? A rapper puts up a video from jail and says, “I’m having a great time.”

Andrew Cuomo calls the Chainsmokers’ concert in the Hamptons “reckless,” and people on the Internet are calling the band “stupid.”

In the video, singer Taggart talks about what happened while sitting in a car with his friends. He said, as group member Alex Pall, 37, laughed in the background, “We’re in a vibe and I, like, gave him a kiss on the cheek, it was totally my fault.” He continued, “And he said, ‘Don’t do that.’ I said, ‘OK.’ Then he pushed me off. I was like, ‘Alright, my bad.'”

He said, “Then he punched me in the face. I said, ‘OK, I’m sorry,’ and he said, ‘Okay, cool, we’re good.'” It was the strangest thing that’s ever happened.”

Later, the “Take Away” singer admitted that he was to blame for the embarrassing situation and said, “TI is in the clear here.” I was way too into the vibes, so I kissed TI on the cheek, and he punched me in the face. It’s perfect.”

Some fans liked Taggart, but others thought it was wrong for him to move without their permission. One fan wrote, “You’re just happy with your sexuality, and there’s nothing wrong with a peck on the cheek.” Someone else wrote, “LIMITS!!! My boy, you know better than to kiss people without their permission. Lol.”

Clifford Joseph Harris Jr., also known as T.I. and TIP, talked about the alleged incident on Instagram and asked the two to come on his podcast, “Expeditiously.” In the caption, T.I. wrote, “Let’s sit down and talk about it on @expeditiouslyti.”

The 41-year-old rapper from Atlanta said in the video, “I have nothing bad to say, we just had to work through some stuff, you know what I mean? We went somewhere much better. Only good things come to mind when I think of them. I won’t say too much, but I love The Chainsmokers, man.” He went on, “I think the most important thing to remember is what happens next. We had a drink and a shot, and then we went on. I like The Chainsmokers, but I don’t want any sugar.”
