Green, a professional athlete in his own right, played halfback, five-eighth, and hooker in 162 games for five different teams while representing Queensland in seven State of Origin matches.

Paramedics arrived on the scene shortly afterward and declared Green dead, a police spokeswoman told Daily Mail Australia.
A post-mortem was carried out to determine the precise cause of death after she said, “There are no suspicious circumstances.”
