Nicklin Hames has been a setter and defensive specialist for the Huskers for a long time. He is 5’10” tall. She was born in Maryville, Tennessee, and is now a senior. In her last year of college, she will want to finish on a high note.
Kenzie Knuckles is a 5’10” libero and defense specialist who was born in Yorktown, Indiana. She is also a senior who hopes to win the national title before she leaves.
Annie Evans: Setter Annie is in her junior year, and she is 5 feet 9 inches tall. She was born in the Nebraska town of Waverly.

But it’s a new season, and the Huskers will try to do what they did in 2021, but this time win the championship. They’ve done pretty well so far, but there are worries about injuries on the team.
Eight of the Huskers’ nine games have been wins. Based on the points system used by the NCAA, they are currently third for the season. But some teams, like Penn State, are sticking to their 11-0 records.
Tonight, Nebraska plays Michigan State at home. The Huskers should win this game pretty easily, but the last time they played at home, Stanford beat them 1-3. So the players might be a little nervous.

Ally Batenhorst’s injury looks like it will last for a long time. She might not be able to play against Ohio State, and she definitely won’t be able to play against Michigan State.
Hayden Kubik, a first-year player, was put in her place by Coach John Cook. When Kubik came off the bench in the game against Creighton, she did a great job. This will make the coach happy.
Kubik ended the game with 6 kills, 5 digs, and 1 block. She also had the kill that won the game. She is a great person to have as a back-up. Still a freshman, she will have a lot of chances in the years to come.
But Batenhorst’s injury will hurt just as much as it did at home against Stanford. So the fans want her to get better so she can get her team back to winning. Over the past year, she’s become a key part of the team’s offense
But it doesn’t look like she will be back for a few games. Her strained abdominal muscle isn’t getting better, so the Huskers’ number 14 will probably have to sit out a few more days.
She was born in Omaha, Nebraska, but when she was in high school, she moved to Houston, Texas. She went to Seven Lakes High School and was one of the school’s many good volleyball prospects.

Before she went to Nebraska, she was named a candidate for the 2020/21 Gatorade National Volleyball Player of the Year award. Her unbelievable stats were 574 kills, 371 digs, 33 blocks, and 33 service aces. She led the Spartans to a record of 25-1, which was their best record ever.
Batenhorst chose to go to the University of Nebraska because she was one of the best volleyball prospects. She had an average of 1.99 kills, 0.63 digs, and 0.3 blocks per set when she was a freshman. In her first season, she had seven games with 10 or more kills.
