Nebraska’s Ally Batenhorst has been hurt and will miss a few games. She tore a muscle in her stomach, and she is still getting better from it.

The Nebraska Cornhuskers volleyball team is one of the best in the country. Their recent success in the NCAA division shows that their team is well-trained and trusts their coach, John Cook.

But because of injuries, the Huskers are going to have some rough days this season. But they have a good track record, with an 8-1 record going into the new season.

Based on the points given by the NCAA, the Cornhuskers are third right now. Tonight, they will play at home against Michigan State, who has also had a good start and is 9-2.

Ally Batenhorst has hurt a muscle in her stomach

John Cook, the coach for the Huskers, said that the sophomore outside hitter might miss a few games.

Batenhorst is one of the top four outside hitters on her team. She had a great year as a freshman and is back for more. She started the game against Creighton, but in the first set, she was replaced.

The outsider, who was 20 years old, hurt a muscle and had to leave the game in the first set. Her pain was also clear when she worked out with the athletic trainer, Jolene Emricson.

Cook has always liked Batenhorst a lot, and he said that the team would miss her a lot. He wants her to stay off the field for a while so that the injury doesn’t get worse and keep coming back.

“It’s one of those things that’s hard to get better from, “”You try to get back, but it only takes one small thing to set it off again,” the coach said on Huskers radio.

“She started the game, and I could tell right away that she wasn’t on. I go, ‘Are you OK?’ and she said yeah. The second time she came out, she said, “I don’t think I can play.” Cook said more.

Batenhorst’s injury has given many Huskers fans good reason to worry. The coach is giving her time to heal both physically and mentally before deciding when she can come back.

But we know that she is a picky customer who won’t stop playing for long. Let’s find out more about the sophomore at Nebraska who made a name for herself in her first year.

Nebraska Cornhuskers Volleyball Roster And Squad List

Every season, Nebraska Cornhuskers Women’s Volleyball is definitely one of the NCAA’s top teams. They have won five national championships, which makes them the third best team in NCAA history.

Putting out the best volleyball players every year is no joke. Here are all of the team’s members for the 2022 season:

Nicklin Hames has been a setter and defensive specialist for the Huskers for a long time. He is 5’10” tall. She was born in Maryville, Tennessee, and is now a senior. In her last year of college, she will want to finish on a high note.

Kenzie Knuckles is a 5’10” libero and defense specialist who was born in Yorktown, Indiana. She is also a senior who hopes to win the national title before she leaves.

Annie Evans: Setter Annie is in her junior year, and she is 5 feet 9 inches tall. She was born in the Nebraska town of Waverly.

Bekka Allick is from Lincoln, and her favorite place to play is in her own backyard. The middle blocker, who is 6’4″ tall, is one of the most exciting freshmen this year.

Maise Boesiger: Another freshman from Firth, Nebraska, this defensive specialist is Maise Boesiger. The 5’6″ libero will give the senior defense specialists on the team a lot of trouble.

The 5’5″ Illinois girl is harder to deal with than she looks, says Lexi Rodriguez. As a libero, 2021 was one of her best seasons.

Kennedi Orr is a sophomore who was born in Minnesota. She is 6 feet tall. She is one of the team’s best setters.

Madi Kubak is an outside hitter who is 6’3″ tall. She was born in Iowa. She is known for how well she attacks.

Whitney Launestein: Whitney is a 6’2″ outside hitter who is also from Waverly. She is a sophomore now, and last season showed how good she could be.

Ally Batenhorst is the tallest member of the team at 6’5″. She was raised in Texas and is known for getting impossible kills. She is in the second year of high school.

Lindsay Krause is another right fielder who is 6’4″ tall. She is from the Nebraska town of Papillion.

Kaitlyn Hord is a middle blocker who came from Nebraska’s most bitter rival, Penn State. She’s a senior and is 6 feet 4 inches tall.

Hayden Kubik is a freshman outside hitter who is 6’2″ tall. Due to injuries, Hayden will get a lot of chances to play.

Maggie Mendelson: Middle blocker Maggie is the same height as Ally. She is a great prospect and is in her first year at Nebraska.

John Cook is a great coach and one of the best in the Big Ten Conference. Since 2000, he has been the head coach of the Huskers, leading them to four national titles. The 60-year-old will be in charge of the team for the 23rd time.

Jaylen Reyes and Kelly Hunter are the assistant coaches.

The Nebraska Cornhuskers’ schedule and predictions: Are they likely to win the championship?

One team that is always a favorite to win the national championship is the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

They have won five NCAA titles and are the third best team in the country, after Stanford and their biggest rival, Penn State. They almost made it to 6 in 2021, but Wisconsin beat them by the narrowest of margins.

But it’s a new season, and the Huskers will try to do what they did in 2021, but this time win the championship. They’ve done pretty well so far, but there are worries about injuries on the team.

Eight of the Huskers’ nine games have been wins. Based on the points system used by the NCAA, they are currently third for the season. But some teams, like Penn State, are sticking to their 11-0 records.

Tonight, Nebraska plays Michigan State at home. The Huskers should win this game pretty easily, but the last time they played at home, Stanford beat them 1-3. So the players might be a little nervous.

So, tonight’s game against Michigan State is the first real test of the Big Ten. As usual, the Huskers will be the favorites to win the NCAA semi-finals, which will be held in Omaha this year.

The Huskers already had a strong team, but adding new players has made them even better. So, they might win the national championship again after not doing so for five years, in 2017.

But it would be silly to leave out well-known schools like Stanford and Penn State. Also, Wisconsin got out of a stalemate last year and will want to keep up its good play.

Still, it’s been another exciting season of volleyball matches, which will end on December 17 at the CHI Health Center in Omaha.

Is Ally Batenhorst on the Ohio State team? Change: Moving Forward

Ally Batenhorst’s injury looks like it will last for a long time. She might not be able to play against Ohio State, and she definitely won’t be able to play against Michigan State.

Hayden Kubik, a first-year player, was put in her place by Coach John Cook. When Kubik came off the bench in the game against Creighton, she did a great job. This will make the coach happy.

Kubik ended the game with 6 kills, 5 digs, and 1 block. She also had the kill that won the game. She is a great person to have as a back-up. Still a freshman, she will have a lot of chances in the years to come.

But Batenhorst’s injury will hurt just as much as it did at home against Stanford. So the fans want her to get better so she can get her team back to winning. Over the past year, she’s become a key part of the team’s offense

But it doesn’t look like she will be back for a few games. Her strained abdominal muscle isn’t getting better, so the Huskers’ number 14 will probably have to sit out a few more days.

She was born in Omaha, Nebraska, but when she was in high school, she moved to Houston, Texas. She went to Seven Lakes High School and was one of the school’s many good volleyball prospects.

Also, Ally Batenhorst is 20 years old right now. On July 26, she has a party with her friends and family to mark her birthday. Her zodiac sign is Leo. She has two other sisters. Casey Batenhorst and Danielle Batenhorst.

At the moment, the 20-year-old doesn’t seem to have a boyfriend. Her Instagram wall has a lot of followers, but there are no pictures of her boyfriend there. She is probably only thinking about her job.

Already, Ally Batenhorst’s career is a big deal

Ally Batenhorst is still pretty young, but her career has taken off like a rocket.

In 2021, Prep Volleyball ranked her as the third best player overall and the second best outside hitter prospect. She has also ranked the top prospect in the state of Texas.

Before she went to Nebraska, she was named a candidate for the 2020/21 Gatorade National Volleyball Player of the Year award. Her unbelievable stats were 574 kills, 371 digs, 33 blocks, and 33 service aces. She led the Spartans to a record of 25-1, which was their best record ever.

Batenhorst chose to go to the University of Nebraska because she was one of the best volleyball prospects. She had an average of 1.99 kills, 0.63 digs, and 0.3 blocks per set when she was a freshman. In her first season, she had seven games with 10 or more kills.

Batenhorst was one of the most watched players in her division when she was a sophomore. She had a season-high ten kills in the Huskers’ first game of the Husker Invitational against LMU. In her first game, against Tulsa, she had set up seven kills.

But she hurt a muscle during the game against Creighton and hasn’t been able to play since. But it’s only a matter of time before she shows us how great she is as an outside hitter in volleyball.

Will Ally Batenhorst be on the team that plays Ohio State?

It’s possible that Ally Batenhorst won’t play against Ohio State. Next weekend, she might play.

Who will hit from the outfield instead of Ally Batenhorst?

Hayden Kubik, a freshman, has played in Batenhorst’s spot. But Coach John Cook likes to switch his players around.

In 2022, can the Huskers win the National Championship?
