He said, “Parkinson’s is the gift that keeps on giving, but it’s a blessing, and he wouldn’t trade it for anything.”

Doctors told him when he was first diagnosed that he only had ten years left of work before his health got too bad. This is what he wrote in his memoir Lucky Man, which came out in 2002. Michael said that he had ignored reality and that coming out would hurt his career as an actor.

Biography

Marty McFly was born to Irish-American parents in Hill Valley, California. Marty’s life before the first Back to the Future movie is not well known. He told his future parents that he set fire to the living room rug when he was eight years old, but that’s about all we know. When he was about 14, he met his friend Dr. Emmett “Doc” Brown after hearing that Brown was a dangerous nut. Marty, being a “red-blooded American teenager,” wanted to see for himself what was going on. He sneaked into Doc’s lab and was amazed by everything he had made. Doc was glad to find someone who liked his work when he caught him, and that’s how they became friends.

Marty’s band, The Pinheads, plays guitar in 1985, and Marty likes to listen to Huey Lewis and the News, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Van Halen, and Michael Jackson. He is also good at skateboarding and shooting a pistol, which he learned by playing Wild Gunman and other shooting games at his local 7-Eleven over and over again.

By 2015, Marty’s life had gotten out of hand because of the pain from an injury to his hand that made it impossible for him to play the guitar. This injury happens in 1985 when Marty accepts a road race challenge from his school enemy Douglas J. Needles after being called a chicken and crashes into a Rolls-Royce. In 1885, Biff Tannen’s great-grandfather, Buford, provokes Marty into a fight. Marty wins, even though he doesn’t pull a gun on Buford. Once he gets back to 1985, he remembers this event and what his great-great-grandfather Seamus McFly told him, so he drops out of Needles’ challenge and avoids the crash that would have ruined his musical talent.

Movie Events and Going Back in Time

In the first movie, Dr. Brown shows Marty the time machine he made. It looks like a DeLorean, and it runs on plutonium that he stole from Libyan terrorists who wanted to use it to make a bomb. During this exchange, the angry terrorists shoot the doctor, and Marty runs away from them in the time machine, but ends up going back to 1955 by accident. There, he runs into his teenage parents and makes it hard for them to talk. He talks to Dr. Brown in 1955, and with his help, he brings his parents back together. He then goes back to an alternate 1985, where his father George is a writer and Biff, who picked on his father in high school, takes care of them. He also finds out that Dr. Brown is still alive and that after Marty told him what would happen to him in 1955, he wore a bulletproof vest.

In the second movie, Marty and Jennifer are brought to 2015 by Dr. Brown. They got married, and then their teenage son, Marty Jr., was arrested, which was bad for the whole Mcfly family. Jennifer is knocked out by Brown, and Marty, who is from 1985, dresses up as his son and talks to the older Biff. His son was supposed to meet Griff, Biff’s grandson, who forces his son to help them commit a crime. Marty stops this from happening by putting on a disguise and getting into a hoverboard dash. This means that Marty Jr. is not the one who gets arrested, but rather Griff and his group. Jennifer was left behind. The police use her fingerprints to find her and take her back to her home in 2015. She is saved by Marty and Dr. Brown, but they don’t know that Elder Biff has stolen their time machine and gone back to 1955, where he gives his younger self an Almanac to use for gambling. When they all go back to 1985, they find that Hill Valley has turned into a dystopia and that Biff has become one of the richest and most corrupt people in the country. He had married Marty’s mother, Lorraine, against her will and killed Marty’s father in secret. Marty and Dr. Brown go back in time to 1955 once more to steal the Almanac from 1955 Biff, which they do. But when lightning hits the DeLorean, Dr. Brown is sent to 1885. Marty gets a letter from Brown on September 2, 1885, which was written on that date.
