Meet The Parents of Longhorns Volleyball Player Logan Eggleston, Stan and Lori Eggleston

Logan Eggleston, a talented young volleyball player, was created in Brentwood, Tennessee, to Stan and Lori Eggleston.

She plays wing spiker for the University of Texas’ Texas Longhorns. After completing her education and graduating from Brentwood High School, Eggleston played volleyball for the University of Texas.

The Most Valuable Player and Best Server honors for the U.S. Women’s Junior National Team went to Logan in 2018. She was also named the 2016 and 2017 Tennessean Volleyball Player of the Year as well as the 2017 USA Volleyball Championships’ Most Valuable Player in the National Division.

Three times, Logan has made both the All-County and All-District teams.

Parents of Logan Eggleston

Her parents welcomed Logan Eggleston into the world in Bristol, Tennessee. Her parents have been incredibly encouraging in both her volleyball profession and her daily life.

Her father, Stan Eggleston, is African American, while Logan’s mother, Lori Eggleston, is Caucasian. Her father, Stan Eggleston, played men’s basketball at Emory and Henry College.

She is a junior outside hitter for Alabama and got the honor for the 2019–2020 season. For the third time, she claimed the award from a Lady Bruins player under Barbara Campbell.

Shaye took part in 22 games and made her Crimson Tide debut in the season opener versus Austin Peay. In three matches at the Marshall Invitational, Shaye finished with 17 kills and 28 digs for her first double-double of her career versus Auburn.

Four times in a row, Shaye has captured the Tennessee AAA State Championship, and twice he has been voted the state’s Gatorade Player of the Year.

Between 2015 and 2017, she helped Brentwood win three of the state-record eight straight Class AAA state championships.

The outside hitter finished second in the conference with 4.67 points per set in 2021, had an average of 0.48 service aces per set, and had 3.85 kills per set.

Despite the former Brentwood star and WILLCO Female Athlete of the Year’s 21 kills in 2021, Eggleston and the Longhorns lost to Kentucky, 3-1, in the NCAA championship match.
