Len Kiese formally decided that he wanted to become a broadcast journalist during his second year of high school.
At that point, he was chosen by his English instructor to conduct the morning assembly over the school’s PA system at Mergenthaler Vocational-Technical High in Baltimore, Maryland. Furthermore, it just felt right.

His co-hosts and colleagues not only paid respect to him, but also bade him a fond farewell. They also aired highlights from his time at KPIX and the stories he told the staff about his recollections there.
Tears began to form in his eyes as the channel paid him tribute. As he bid goodbye to everyone, he was filled with emotion as he expressed his joy at having found a family and a job there.
In a lengthy Instagram post that he made six days before leaving, the anchor did inform his followers of his last day working on the show.

Len Kiese announced his return to the Orlando area in an Instagram post.
He claimed that he had been receiving calls from his family and that he wanted to go see them. Though it’s uncertain which channel he’ll switch to following KPIX,
Len hasn’t yet responded to rumors that he might be retiring, despite some people’s speculation to the contrary. Instead, he merely announced that he would be leaving the network without outlining his future objectives.
Nevertheless, his fans wish him luck as he sets off on a new route in the future. They said he would be missed on the newscast.
Who Is Len Kiese, the Anchor? His age and bio on Wikipedia
Len Kiese, a well-known journalist from KPIX 5 News, appears to be in his mid-30s or early 35s.
He was raised in Baltimore, where he also went to college, per his CBSnews profile.
A few months prior to earning his degree from Towson University, the anchor accepted his first position in broadcasting at WALB-TV in Albany, Georgia. He too started out as a reporter before being promoted to Saturday night anchor.
After that, Kiese moved to Jacksonville, Florida, where she started working as a reporter for First Coast News. He soon started anchoring Good Morning Jacksonville on the weekends, though.
