One of the few shows that have come out of South Africa that Netflix has commissioned in the past year or so is the show that Shona Ferguson has made for them.

The story centres on the delicate relationship between two brothers, one of whom is recently released from jail, and the other of whom is trying to establish some kind of normalcy in their lives.

You’ve got yourself a little bit of a jewel on your hands if you mix in some mysticism with mermaids and some magic that causes body transformations.

In addition, the opinions of the reviewers have been tallied, and it has been determined that it is an absolute must-see. It has lofty goals, and the number of daring sequences it contains is almost nonexistent.

As the newest additions to Netflix come out by the end of January, it is not too late to watch the previous season on the streaming service.

Kings of Johannesburg Season 2: Spoilers

The new promotional video portrays a picture of the upcoming season as one in which there is very little room for error, something significant is on the horizon, and the Masire brothers are running out of time.

The promotional video has a gloomy, ominous score playing in the background as it shows two men working in the middle of nowhere at night with shovels in hand on what appears to be a grave. The men appear to be burying someone.

The nights that Mogomotsi “Mo” Masire (Zolisa Xaluva) spends in bed are anything but calm since he is tormented by dreams of a past that he once had but no longer does.

We get our first look at the supernatural danger posed by the Masire, who appear as a young man standing still with his eyes glowing a pale blue colour.

These scenes take place in a garage, and they show a pair of menacing stares, a woman leaning into a car through a window, and a pair of menacing stares. When the voiceover comes on, Mo is sitting in a car, weary, and it gives him some advice: “do not hold back.”

Despite the fact that there has been no official announcement regarding the second season of Kings of Jo’burg, production on the second season has already begun.

As a direct consequence of this, assuming the spoiler at this juncture is no longer required. We would appreciate it if you would keep in touch with us because as soon as we obtain any new information pertaining to this topic, we will post it on this page.
