JEE Main 2022 Exam Date

Presently the date of JEE Main 2022 Exam has not been declared. Hopefully, the education minister will soon announce the exact examination date of the examination as well as for examination registration for the upcoming February session. According to resources registration for the exams might begin from the first week of January (Tentative). Notification is expected to be published online on the official at nta.ac.in or jeemain.nta.nic.in in the first week of January 2022.

Syllabus of JEE Main Exam 2022

The JEE Main syllabus will be released along with the official brochure at nta.ac.in /jeemain.nta.nic.in

It is confirmed that JEE Main Syllabus had not been impacted with the 30% reduction in CBSE class XI and XII syllabus. To address the issue, NTA had introduced choices in JEE Main Question Paper instead. The same is expected to be followed this year too.

Subject and Topics

Mathematics: Calculus, Coordinate Geometry, Sets, Relations, and Functions, Complex Numbers and Quadratic Equations, Matrices and Determinants, Permutations and combinations, Trigonometry, Probability, and others.

Physics: Electromagnetic waves, optics, thermodynamics, electronic devices, physics and measurement, kinematics, laws of motion, work, energy and power, rotational motion, gravity, electrostatics, magnetic effects of current, communication systems, and so on.

Chemistry: Atomic Structure, Chemical Thermodynamics, Redox Reaction & Thermo-chemistry, Surface Chemistry, Hydrogen, s & p-Block Elements, Hydrocarbons, Polymers and some basic concepts of Chemistry, States of Matter, Organic Nitrogen Compounds, etc.

Aptitude: Surfaces and objects associated with Architecture and as building elements. Familiarization with places, relevant people, structures, buildings and materials or objects. Capability of visualizing of 3D objects from 2D drawings and so on.

JEE Main 2022 Eligibility Criteria

It is important for every student or candidate to match the eligibility criteria of JEE Main 2022 before filling or applying for JEE Main examination. For more details must read the points shown in this article. Read the details carefully and make sure you meet all of the following requirements. Candidates must meet the following requirements to be qualified for JEE Main 2022 exam:

 Age Requirement (Date of Birth):

1. Candidates who are on or after October 1, 1997, are eligible to sit for the JEE Main 2022.
2. SC/ST/PWD candidates, are eligible for 5-year age relaxation and must be born on or after October 1, 1992.
3. The date of birth on the candidate’s higher secondary education (10^th) certificate will be taken into account.

Criteria for Eligibility:

1. In 2022, applicants must have passed 10+2 or an equivalent exam from a recognized board/institute.
2. Candidates who took their 12^th class exam in 2019 but somehow did not pass the exam are ineligible to take the exam again, even though they pass their exam later.
3. Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics must be required subjects in the qualifying test.
4. Candidates who take the qualifying exam will also be considered or eligible.
5. Candidates who have completed three-year diploma programs can be appear for JEE Main Exam 2022.
6. There are Specified Number for Attempts.
7. The number of attempts permitted for JEE Main is limited to three times. It means candidates can appear for three times in total for exam if he/she get failed at first attempt they can try for two more times.
