Lacy began acting when she was in high school and has since gone on to perform on professional stages in performances of A Midsummer Night’s Dream as Demetrius (in Hartford Stage’s production) and Much Ado About Nothing as Conrad (in the Oberon Theater Ensemble’s production).Before the series Guiding Light was canceled, Lacy appeared in a few episodes of the show in smaller parts.

His subsequent part was in the indie sports comedy titled “Balls Out,” in which he played the protagonist character Caleb Fuller, who is the head coach of an intramural football team.  In the comedy-drama film Obvious Child, which was released in 2014, he starred as an opposite Jenny Slate.
