In the animated series Invincible on Prime Video, Nolan Grayson/Omni-Man is voiced by Academy Award-winning American actor J.K. Simmons. He gained widespread recognition for playing J. J.K. Simmons: Bio

American actor Jonathan Kimble Simmons was born on January 9, 1955. Since his debut in 1986, he has played more than 200 parts in movies and television shows, earning recognition as one of today’s greatest character performers. Among other honors, he has won an Academy Award, a BAFTA Award, a Golden Globe Award, a Screen Actors Guild Award, and a Critics Choice Award.

He played J. Jonah Jameson in Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man trilogy (2002–2007), B.R. in Thank You for Smoking (2005), Mac MacGuff in Juno (2007), Terence Fletcher in Whiplash (2014), Bill in La La Land (2016), William Frawley in Being the Ricardos (2021), Commissioner James Gordon in Justice League (2017), Zack Snyder’s Justice League (2021), and Batgirl in the DC Extended Universe (2022). In addition to several animated series, the Marvel Cinematic Universe/Spider-Man Sony’s Universe movies Spider-Man: Far From Home (2019), Venom: Let There Be Carnage, and Spider-Man: No Way Home (both 2021), as well as the web series TheDailyBugle.net, he reprised his Jameson role in a variety of Marvel media unrelated to the Sam Raimi trilogy (2019; 2021).

Simmons performed Benny Southstreet in the 1992 production of Guys and Dolls on Broadway.

He performed in a number of roles in the Wagner opera spoof Das Barbecü in 1994.

He also appeared as Jigger in a Houston Grand Opera production of the musical Carousel, and he was the lead in the 1987 Off-Broadway production of Birds of Paradise.

Simmons was given a major role in the movie Kong: Skull Island in January 2015, yet he and Michael Keaton later left the picture.

Along with his live action career, Simmons also took on a sizable number of voice-over jobs. His J. Earth’s Mightiest Heroes, Ultimate Spider-Man, Avengers Assemble, and Hulk and the Agents of S.M.A.S.H., Simmons repeated his role as J. Jonah Jameson’s voice. He provided the voice of the protagonist’s boss in a series of voicemails for his friend Reitman’s movie Young Adult. In Justice League Unlimited, he also provided the voice of General Wade Eiling.
