The crew from the London Ambulance Service stated, “We were contacted at 9:52 this morning to reports of a stabbing in the Bishopsgate area.” The resources included our Tactical Response Unit in addition to three ambulance crews, two advanced paramedics, two incident response police, and our Tactical Response Unit. 4 patients were seen by our personnel. Three people were admitted to the hospital, and one person was allowed to go home. The mayor made the following statement: “The good news is that this is not a terrorist attack.
“It is a stark warning about the peril of carrying a blade in public throughout our nation. We are in no way complacent despite the fact that we have seen a rise in knife crime injuries across the entirety of our country rather than a greater fall as we have seen in London.
“I believe that it is absolutely necessary to take a hard stance against crime, to invest in policing, and to take a hard stance against the complex causes of crime, investing in young people and workers in the youth sector. There is never room for complacency, but there has been a decrease in the number of injuries caused by knife crimes in London.
