The summer is the perfect time for Celtic to explore the possibility of acquiring Conor Hourihane, and no, it is not merely because the player despises Rangers.
After spending the previous season on loan with Sheffield United, the Republic of Ireland international was released from his contract at Aston Villa while playing for Steven Gerrard.
Back in 2017, Hourihane dropped a hint about his fondness for Celtic as a football club by saying that he “hates” its Old Firm rivals Rangers. In other words, he called Rangers “the enemy.”
The Bosman, who is now 31 years old, might also be interested in playing for Parkhead.
The inquiry is whether or whether Ange Postecoglou requires him, and the response is that she does.
The recording purports to have captured Postecoglou’s comments from the previous month in which he stated that he intends to bring in another midfielder this coming summer.

This is a no-brainer and something for Postecoglou to take into consideration given that he is a free agent and may be a bhoy based on his prior statements on the Ibrox outfit.
