Police were looking into a stabbing report, so Tuesday night’s events at Fraser High School were canceled.
Fraser Public Schools said in a statement on Tuesday night that they had decided to cancel all events after police gave the “all clear” at 5:15 p.m. and put the campus on lockdown at around 4:45 p.m.
The story says that police haven’t said much about what happened, and one officer said that they probably won’t until Wednesday.
Even though the school was locked down, officials said the incident did not happen on their property.

The school said in a statement, “We know that social media can be hard to track and understand. I want you to watch what your child sees on social media and in our community, and I also want you to talk to your child to make sure they are getting the right information.
“The safety of our kids, staff, and community is our top priority,” say people in charge of the school. They also say that they are helping police with their investigation.
On Wednesday, counselors and social workers will be at both FHS and RMS to meet with anyone who needs to talk.
School officials say that there will be police from Fraser at both schools.
We live in a broken and lost society. With violence, shootings, CRT, and brainwashing in public schools, which are literally failing our children, home school seems like the best option.

FRASER, Mich. (FOX 2) – After there were reports of a fight near two Fraser school district buildings on Tuesday afternoon, the district plans to make school safer on Wednesday.
After getting reports of some kind of fight, the police locked down several district buildings. A statement from the police says that a fight happened in the afternoon near Garfield Road and Klein Avenue.
All activities at the middle and high schools had to be canceled until 5:30 p.m. because the schools were on lockdown.
Parents said that someone may have been stabbed during a fight between students, but police wouldn’t say what happened.
The public was not in danger. At this point, we don’t know how people are doing.

Principal Virginia Crawford hasn’t said anything in response to requests from the media, but she did send out a school newsletter this afternoon that addressed many parents’ concerns.

She then asked anyone who had video of the attack to get rid of it
“If you know that your child recorded the incident, please delete the recording and do not share it on social media. Doing so will retraumatize the young people and their families, and I’m sure you’ll understand that right now both families are focused on taking care of their child.”
She also talked about why a student was able to bring a weapon to school. She said that some situations got worse because “students used social media… or miscommunicated tone and intent, sometimes leading to a plan to meet, which led to a serious incident face to face.”
When asked why she told parents so late on a Friday night, at 9:30, she said that school management had been working with the police and “accurately assessing the situation and why and how it happened” before that time.
The school wasn’t put on lockdown because the alleged attacker was with school staff and was “contained immediately” after the incident.
“Soon after, the police got to the school and caught the person who did it. While they were waiting for the ambulance, the school nurse gave the right medical care “she typed.
She also said that only the teens’ parents would be told about new information about the two teens.
She said that the school was following its “disciplinary procedures” with the student.
