As was just indicated, the show is receiving overwhelmingly positive word of mouth from audiences all over the world. The show tells the narrative of two close friends who, via a series of unfortunate events, get involved in the operation of a massive fake ID enterprise in North America. After some time, the group of close friends moved into a penthouse that was located in the downtown area. They are carrying a sufficient amount of cash, but they are unsure as to what they will do with the enormous sum of money. However, law enforcement conducted a search warrant on the two individuals, and throughout the course of the investigation, a police officer detained one of the two partners while allowing the other one to go free.

However, the story does not follow the order that is presented in the summary, despite the fact that the synopsis provided a very straightforward account of the entire event. It is jam-packed with amusement that will keep you amused with its extremely engaging plot and commendable performance of all of the lead actors, making it much more amusing for the audience to watch. In addition to this, the production cast Emikija Baranac to play the character of Zoe, and Jennifer Tong to play the role of Rebecca. Both of these roles were played by Emikija Baranac and Jennifer Tong. The two individuals are responsible for the establishment of one of the most successful Fake ID departments in North America and bring in a staggering amount of revenue.

Despite this, the two individuals, after being exposed to criminal activities, are responsible for the creation of the entire large organization by accident. If we consider the beginnings of both females, Zor comes from a humble family and had a normal childhood. She is looked after by her mother, and she grew up with her brother who is an alcoholic. Zoe has made the difficult decision to leave her home in order to attend a reputable university and sever any ties she has with her relatives.

What transpires over the course of 10 episodes when two adolescents create a false identification card empire that experiences both success and failure? The answer will be revealed in the new series Fakes on Netflix. Emilija Baranac and Jennifer Tong play the leads in this series, which follows their exploits as they establish a business that provides their fellow adolescents with fake IDs rather than falling in love with one of their contemporaries. Richard Harmon plays the role of their business partner turned adversary/competitor in the market.

In October of 2021, Deadline announced who would play the three main roles in the upcoming film before production on the movie began in Vancouver. David Turko is the one responsible for creating the show. Prior to that, he worked on the fantasy drama series Warrior Nun, which was broadcast on the streamer. Alongside Simon Barry (Van Helsing, Warrior Nun), Lilly Burns (Emily in Paris, Uncoupled), Stephen Hegyes (Warrior Nun), and Tony Hernandez, Turko serves as an executive producer on the show (Emily in Paris, Uncoupled). Producers Zack Tucker Gangnes (Warrior Nun) and Todd Giroux (Van Helsing, Warrior Nuns) are credited for their work on the film.

Plot Of Fakes

According to the teaser, what starts out as two individuals creating fraudulent identification cards so that they can purchase alcohol spirals out of control and becomes an empire that eventually collapses. Rebecca (Jennifer Tong) is impressed by Zoe’s (Emilija Baranac) ability to make the first two cards, despite the fact that Zoe believes that anyone could make them. They put them to the test in a store, where they are promptly confronted about the plainly phony address. As they flee the scene with their phony IDs and drink in hand, they mull over the possibilities that lie ahead for them if they continue to produce fakes.

They approach a man named Tryst, played by Richard Harmon, show him their work, and he tells them that he can probably transfer somewhere about 200 of the cards for them. It would appear that they are printing them for him, then selling them to a number of different persons in order to make a profit. They appear to be doing rather well financially with their new venture, as seen by the purchase of expensive vehicles and a penthouse. They throw parties and are always dressed to the nines in fashionable attire, both of which are likely only possible now that they have more money. The fact that they are having such success at such a young age is very impressive.

When Tryst comes after them, alleging that they owe him either $30,000 or 200 fakes, everything appears to come crumbling down around them. Did they never hand over the two hundred dollars they had promised him? Were the ones that they provided him afterwards found to be illegal? He threatens them by doing things such as setting fire to documents and throwing stuff into a body of water. He sends the girls into a spiral in the trailer. They are unsure whether they should take him seriously since he claims to be able to harm them in the way that he describes or whether they should simply disregard him. It is known that the police broke up their operation by raiding a party that was taking place at their penthouse; however, it is unknown if he called the police in or whether the police just happened to hunt them down in a Ross Ulbricht-style operation.

It is stated in the logline that the two adolescents construct “one of the largest phony ID empires in North America,” which provides insight into the level of influence that they achieve inside their illegal operation. Is it possible that Tryst possesses more power than they do? Do the women not understand how significant their company has become over the years? Do they grow to a size where they can start selling things online, bringing them to the notice of government agencies?

The two adolescents are referred to as “unreliable narrators battling for the last word” in The Wrap’s article. Is it possible that a fallout between the two of them contributed in some way to the decline of their empire? Who else might the audience believe to tell them what is actually taking place if the narrators themselves are unreliable? Is it possible that we can trust Tryst as our narrator to tell us what’s going on? The preview shows the two of them going through the wall of the fourth dimension. Could this perhaps be their way of trying to win the audience around to their cause? There is a brief scene showing Zoe being held in custody. Is the audience, which acts as their jury, being told what happened in the series as if it were a retelling by the characters themselves? It should come as no surprise that seeing Fakes will be an exciting adventure from beginning to end.
