After a terrifying chase throughout Memphis that lasted many hours, 19-year-old Zekiel Kelly has been taken into custody.
Wednesday evening, the Memphis Police Department issued a warning to the public to be on the lookout for an armed and dangerous suspect who, according to the police, was on a shooting spree throughout Memphis.
After further investigation, the identity of that man was revealed to be Kelly, for whom an arrest warrant for first-degree murder had been issued the previous Wednesday.
In addition, he has a criminal past that includes attempted murder in the first degree, aggravated assault, and endangering the lives of others recklessly. These charges are the result of an arrest that was made in 2020.
