EPIX’s ‘From’ Fan Theories (Finale): Will Boyd turn into a monster and will Jim Matthews die in Season 2?

Although a Season 2 of ‘From’ has not been confirmed as of yet, that has not prevented fans from speculating about the show.

The season finale of EPIX’s ‘From’ concluded on a suspenseful note, and the ten-episode series created by John Griffin and executive produced by the Russo brothers left viewers with more questions than answers by the end of the season. Because of the way the season finale ended, it is almost certain that a second season will be released; nevertheless, there has been no official confirmation of a new season. The show’s conclusion prompted viewers to speculate about the show’s future and the theories.

The goal is that the upcoming season will provide solutions to the majority of the questions that Season 1 raised. The episode ended with Mathews (Eion Bailey) receiving an answer that sent shivers down the spines of everyone who saw it. Tabitha (Catalina Sandino Moreno) manages to escape with Victor after she accidentally comes onto the location where the monsters emerge. Boyd (Harold Perrineau) ventures into the remote tree and finds himself imprisoned in a tight chimney-spaced space, but there is no indication as to what happens to Sara (Kathy Bates) (Avery Konrad).

Fan Theory No. 1: Will Boyd Stevens transform into a monstrous creature?

Boyd’s transformation into a monster following his bite by the spiders in the finale was one of the most talked-about aspects of the episode. He believes he hears the voice of his deceased wife, Abby, and ventures into a cobwebbed section of the jungle, only to discover that it was a horrific vision and become bitten by a swarm of spiders in the process. Sara Myers’ desperate attempts to urge him ahead to make it to the lighthouse they see fail as the weather worsens during their search for a route out. He eventually falls from agony and weariness as their search for a way out continues.

She has a vision of the boy in white, who orders her to get into the neighbouring distance tree, and Boyd is forced into the tree first, where he finds himself stuck in a tiny space because of the boy in white. The working hypothesis is that, while he may be able to endure the menace of the ghouls, he may very well wind up becoming one himself.

Fan Theory #2: Jim Mathews will die in the second season of “From.”

The actors Eion Bailey and Catalino Sandino Moreno appear in a shot from the film “From” (EPIX).

The fact that Tabitha is digging through their hideaway and discovering Victor is no coincidence, as the latter was waiting for her to discover the location. Tabitha and Victor may be safe from the monsters, but Jim may be the one who dies at the hands of the monsters if he attempts to go down and find out what happened to Tabitha, as some fans speculated. Will he be one of the major characters who perishes in Season 2 of The Walking Dead?

Fan Theory No. 3: This is a pocket-sized measurement

It is important to note that there are lines and power but no source, which makes for a fascinating conversation. One of the fans speculated that the realm where these people are locked is a horrible pocket universe where they are doing up for their sins from the past. While the last half of the story may appear implausible, the fact that these characters are stranded in an unknown dimension makes a great deal of logic.

Fan Theory #4: Is the bartender’s voice the same as the one Jim overheard talking on the radio?

According to one of the Reddit hypotheses, “Tom works as a bartender. He clearly stated that he would not be present at the colony home for the attempt at radio contact, that he was aware of the digging, and that the voice on the radio sounded a lot like him.” While there are valid arguments on both sides of this debate, if he was in fact the person on the radio, we’re in for a wild and wacky journey. What are the chances of him communicating with monsters, just like Sara?

Fan Theory #5: What do the illustrations say?

There could be a story being revealed to us through those illustrations. Taking a look at them from left to right, we can see that individuals have arrived by boat. Perhaps they were attracted to the location by the red tower, which is an allusion to the lighthouse. They are the same individuals who worship or sacrifice (the square shapes under the symbol, which might be gravestones or sacrificial altars, suggesting a kind of cult).

I’m interested in hearing your comments on the season finale of EPIX’s From.
