Recap of The Eminence in Shadow Episode 2 and its Explanation of Ending
After being resurrected into an aristocratic family, Cid continues to lead a vigilante life in “The Eminence in Shadow” episode 2 titled “Shadow Garden Is Born.” He defeats a band of robbers before curing a cursed girl and telling her she is a hero’s descendant who must battle the Cult of Diabolos. Cid’s sister Claire is taken hostage as she prepares to travel to the royal capital for additional study. Recap of The Eminence in Shadow
Unexpectedly, Minoru Kagenou, who was killed in a car accident, is reincarnated as Cid Kagenou in a different reality. He leads a totally different life now that he is a member of an aristocratic family than he did in the past. But Cid decides to carry on leading a vigilante life, practicing covertly and appearing to be normal in public. As a result, as he matures, many gradually come to view Claire, his older sister, as the legitimate heir to the Kagenou family.
In the meantime, Cid fights bandits covertly, and during one of his nightly searches, he stumbles upon a live blob of rotting flesh. He realizes that someone is cursed, so he conducts a few days’ worth of tests to try to heal them. He eventually succeeds in curing the decaying flesh, which later changes into a stunning elf girl. Cid uses this as a chance to control her. He gives her the name Alpha and then tells her a story, telling her that she is actually a heroic ancestor who once bravely battled the demon Diabolos.
Cid goes on to say that she needs to take action to prevent Diabolos’ cult from planning to raise him from the dead. Alpha accepts his advice and decides to start an organization called Shadow Garden to combat the cult. She finally recruits a few people three years later, and they come to be known as the Shadow Seven. Cid has never been able to defeat his sister Claire, yet they continue to train together.
The aristocrats are expected to enroll in the Midgar Academy of Dark Knights in the royal city when they turn fifteen. For her official schooling, Claire has also registered there and is now prepared to leave the house. Unfortunately, Claire mysteriously disappears from her chamber without a trace the day before she is scheduled to go for the royal capital.
She has been abducted, it is soon discovered. While Cid’s father is amazed that someone was able to fight against her, Cid’s mother is upset and fights with him over the lax safety. In the meantime, Cid, who is not overly concerned, meets Beta, one of the Shadow Seven, to discuss how they should go about locating her.
Do Shadow Seven and Cid Save Claire From Her Kidnappers in the Eminence in Shadow Episode 2’s Final Scene?
Finally meeting Cid to discuss their plan of action, Beta realizes the gravity of the situation. Cid is certain that bandits are responsible for the kidnapping, but Beta claims that a senior member of the Cult of Diabolos is involved. She claimed that they had taken Claire because they thought she was a hero’s ancestor. Beta then pulls up a map and points out to Cid potential hiding places where his sister might be abducted.
However, Cid feels that their first assumptions are incorrect, so he tosses a knife on the map to direct their attention in the right direction but unintentionally misses the target. To his astonishment, Beta is overjoyed and thinks Cid has successfully directed them in a route they weren’t even aware of. The Seven Shadows quickly launch an unexpected assault on the hideout after this meeting.
Viscount Grease, a senior member of the Cult of Diabolos, is interrogating Claire in the meantime. When he mentions her brother, Claire breaks free of her restraints and charges at him, only to fall to the ground shortly after. Suddenly, one of his men appears and announces that the Seven Shadows have attacked the hideout. Viscount thinks his soldiers are strong enough to join the Royal Guard, but to his horror, they are currently swarming the enemy lines like flies.
When Viscount is approached by Alpha and her minions, he battles for a while before attempting to run away. Sadly, he eventually meets Cid, who makes fun of his fighting skills before mercilessly murdering him. Claire escapes her chains the next day and goes back home. She sustains only minor wounds and recovers quickly enough to travel to the royal capital.
Details On Reincarnated as a Sword
Reincarnated as a Sword is a series of Japanese light novels written by Yuu Tanaka and drawn by Llo. It is also known as I Became the Sword by Transmigrating (Japanese:, Hepburn: Tensei Shitara Ken Deshita) or Tenken (). Both of these titles translate to “I Became the Sword by Transmigrating.” In October of 2015, it was first published on the website of the Shsetsuka n Nar as a web novel. After that, it was turned into a light novel and published by Micro Magazine, which brought out the first volume in July of 2016. Both Tomowo Maruyama’s adaptation of the series as a manga, which was published by Gentosha, and Hinako Inoue’s spin-off manga, which was published by Micro Magazine, have been adapted from the series in manga form. Seven Seas Entertainment received licenses to publish the light novels, manga, and spin-off in North America, and they did so under a variety of different titles. In October 2022, the first episode of C2C’s anime version of a television series was shown.
Plot of Reincarnated as a Sword
Following his death in a vehicle accident, the protagonist discovers that he has been reincarnated in another planet as a sword. He has no recall of his former life, other than the fact that he was a sword. However, he does remember everything else about his prior existence. After coming to terms with his destiny as a sword, he started looking for someone to take control of him. He comes into a group of slave traders whose caravan is being attacked by a bear with two heads. Fran, a young catgirl who is a slave, finds the sword and uses it to slay the bear. She gives the sword the name “Teacher” once she has been liberated from servitude, and the two of them then go on an adventure together.

Voices for the role of the Teacher (, Shish) were provided by Satoshi Hino (drama CD) and Shin-ichiro Miki (anime)
Teacher was a person in a previous life, but he was reborn as a mighty and renowned sword instead of returning to his human form. Having no choice but to remain still, he accepts his fate and prepares to wait for a powerful warrior to come along and take control of him.
Ai Kakuma and Inori Minase provide their voices for the character Fran (, Furan).
Her parents were murdered when she was still a child, and she was subsequently sold into slavery. She was a young Black Cat-girl youngster. Despite this, when her caravan is besieged by a bear with two heads, she discovers Teacher and wakes him from his slumber. Together, they set out on a mission to assist Fran in her quest to Evolve, which is something that no other Black Cat has been able to accomplish before now.

An elementalist from the Wood Elf race who serves as the Guild Master of the Alessa Adventurers’ Guild. Although he harbors doubts regarding the origin of Fran’s powers, he does not prevent her from joining the guild.
Donadrond (, Donadorondo) is an Oni warrior who serves as an examiner for the Adventurers’ Guild. He does this by challenging potential adventurers to duels in order to evaluate their combat abilities. Tetsu Inada is the voice actor for this character in the anime. Fran is successful in defeating him, which clears the way for her to move on to the next round.
Rumi Okubo provides the voice of Nell (, Neru).
The person who works as the receptionist for the Adventurers’ Guild in Alessa town. She has a hidden dark side in which she wishes death on adventurers whom she does not like, but she takes a liking to Fran quite fast.

Media of Reincarnated as a Sword
In October 2015, Yuu Tanaka launched the first installment of the story as an online book that was housed on Shsetsuka ni Nar. Llo was responsible for the artwork of Micro Magazine’s light novel series, which they subsequently acquired and published under their GC Novels banner. As of September 2022, there have been a total of fourteen volumes published. The limited version of the fifth volume came packaged together with a drama CD that told its own unique story. Seven Seas Entertainment made the announcement of their acquisition of the light novels on August 6, 2019, and they started releasing them the following day.
Following the examination, Donadrond and Fran travel to speak with the guild master Klimt, who, like Donadrond, is amazed by the extraordinary powers exhibited by the black Cat-girl.
