Clarke, according to reports, passed away on Thursday morning at her home. She was battling brain cancer, but she was optimistic about the medical treatments that were on their way to her in the near future.
Shatanya was open about her ordeal throughout this time, providing updates on social media and on her YouTube channel, “Shatanya’s Journey,” about her suffering.

Shatanya Clarke, a respected Texas television news anchor who was diagnosed with a brain tumor on April 14th, passed away the following day.
The KFDZ family described Shatanya Clarke as “amazing” and optimistic despite the fact that she was diagnosed with cancer in 2020. She will be remembered in Wichita Falls for her dedication and for the fundraising events she organized.
Clarke opened up about her battle with a Myxoid Mesenchymal tumor, which she was diagnosed with when she was 25 years old, in a video segment posted on her YouTube account.
The Jamaican underwent significant brain surgery, chemotherapy, and other therapies to remove the tumor, which was initially thought to be a terrible headache. According to KFDZ, Clarke remained optimistic about the possibility of a cure before to her death.
