Procedure to apply for colour voter ID Card online

  • Applicants can visit the government portal www.nvsp.in to register as a new user.
  • Press the Login/Register button to proceed.
  • Use your existing ID and Password if you have an account or register as a fresh applicant.
  • Now enter your valid and active Email ID and Phone number and use your EPIC number.
  • If you don’t have an EPIC number, select “I don’t have EPIC number.”
  • Right after clicking the register button, you’ll receive a confirmation email on your registered email ID.
  • Follow the verification email and proceed with your application.
  • Upload your recent passport-sized photo and relevant documents.
  • You have to pay a sum of Rs.30/- as the application charges.
  • After filling out form 6 successfully, you can track your Application status at voterportal.eci.gov.in or nvsp.in.
  • You can also visit the nearest CSC (e-Seva office) centre to track your Voter ID Card status.
  • The Voter ID Card will be issued once the verification is complete.
