Recently, Christian Wilkin discussed gender during an interview. When asked about his personal gender identity by The Star Observer, the model responded that “all of us are non-binary” since he believes that “gender is clearly a construct.”
“I would definitely describe all of us as non-binary to be perfectly honest,” the 27-year-old stated. Christian, who is LGBT and apparently uses the he/him pronouns, attributes his self-assurance to his parents. Before adding, “I was simply extremely happy to have parents that sort of never questioned who I was or what I wanted to do,” he said, “I really don’t place much weight in what the opinions of others are.”

The reality TV personality recalled a time when, at the age of three or four, “he wanted to dress as the Wicked Witch of the West from the Wizard of Oz” for Halloween. My parents went out and bought me green glow-in-the-dark face paint and a small black dress so I could dress as a witch, he said, adding that they were always so welcoming of me that I never really questioned myself.
Christian added to The Star Observer that prioritizing your happiness and well-being is perfectly acceptable. In this world, the only person you can depend on is yourself, he said, so if wearing a little pink dress, anything glittery, wearing pants, or anything else makes you happy, go for it because your pleasure is what matters most in this world.
And according to me, being joyful and acting from a place of love and happiness truly causes an energetic shift. And in my opinion, that’s real, and it gives others a platform to do the same, as Christian continued.

Richard Wilkins, the entertainment editor for Channel Nine, and his ex-wife Michelle Burke are the parents of the Australian fashion podcaster. He shared a job as a stylist at Channel Nine with his father, and “he and his best friend Andrew Kelly ran a podcast called Radical Fashionism, which was nominated for Best Original Podcast at the Australian Commercial Radio Awards in 2019.”

Since they don’t work in the media, it seems to reason that others might not find their relationship particularly “interesting,” but in a way, it makes it all the more significant because my mother has been instrumental in keeping me (relatively) grounded. I just believe my folks are f—-ing tops, to cut a long story short.
Christian made headlines last month after stealing the show in a seductive sheer backless dress at the 62nd Annual TV WEEK Logie Awards. At the “Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin” screening at Warner Brothers Studios in mid-July, he also raised the temperature with a sequined outfit and responded to his detractors in a suitable manner.
