On E!, the host defined his program as a cooking chat show where he gets to play about and cook with a lot of famous people. On August 2 at 10 PM ET, E! will broadcast the program’s debut.

Celebrity Beef pits two celebrities against one another each week as they try to cook a fantastic meal while arguing with knives in their hands.

“Things heat up as the celebs try to settle the score in the kitchen and spill the beans on their feud. As the show’s host, Joel takes on the roles of the jury, judge, and prosecution, causing unexpected turns with different problems.”

A war of dishes will be used to settle disputes in pop culture, according to the press release.

McHale selects the winner at the conclusion of each show, awarding them a trophy and $10,000 to donate to the charity of their choice.

The program will be hosted by Joel McHale and feature fresh guests each week.

Celebrities competing against one another in this cooking competition include actresses Cheryl Hines from Curb Your Enthusiasm and Rachael Harris from Lucifer, Ben Higgins and Nick Viall from The Bachelor, Cynthia Bailey and Todd Bridges from Celebrity Big Brother, singer Andy Grammer and director Justin Baldoni, television hosts Justin Sylvester and Loni Love, Dolores Catania and Caroline Manzo from Real Housewives of New Jersey, actress Missi Pyle from Flipping Out
