John Stamos thanks from Bob Saget Tribute “Dirty Daddy” premieres on Netflix

John Stamos is paying tribute to his late buddy Bob Saget’s life and legacy.

Stamos is seen onstage at The Comedy Store in Los Angeles delivering his final text discussion with his Full House costar in the trailer for the upcoming Netflix event Dirty Daddy: The Bob Saget Tribute.
In the trailer, released on Wednesday, Stamos, 58, says, “I want to read my last text from Bob.” “‘I adore you,’ he exclaimed. I’ll claim that God provided me with the brother I desired.'”
‘Well, you have a lot of god-given brothers, but I’m the first, right?’ I remarked. Stamos went on. “‘[John] Mayer is a fantastic friend, but he’s more fair-weather,’ he added. You’re number one because you’re always there.'”
Mayer, 44, who was present in the audience, seemed amused by Saget’s joke, as did the rest of the audience, who burst out laughing.

Saget died on January 9th, at the age of 65. One day after performing a stand-up special outside of Jacksonville, he was discovered in his hotel room at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando, Florida. He died of head injuries, which was consistent with a fall, according to an autopsy.

Stars like Stamos, Mayer, Jim Carrey, Chris Rock, Jeff Ross, Dave Chappelle, Seth Green, and Saget’s wife Kelly Rizzo paid tribute to the actor at the Comedy Store tribute event shortly after his passing.
Ross described it at the time as “a small impromptu punk rock shiva” in which everyone “laughed and sobbed for four hours.”

“Bob valued respect in the realm of stand-up comedy beyond all else. And the outpouring of love and appreciation he received at the @thecomedystore on Sunday night confirmed that he was at the top of his game “In a separate Instagram post, Stamos said. “He would have been ecstatic to witness the party we planned for him.”

During an appearance on the Dystopia Tonight! with John Poveromo podcast in March, the late actor’s buddy Mike Binder announced that the event was captured on film and would be shown on Netflix in June.
Binder added, “We videotaped it and I showed it to Netflix.” “‘Look at this,’ I said. Take a look at this for 16 minutes.’ ‘This is incredible,’ remarked Netflix’s Head of Comedy, Robbie Praw. And they paid for it.”

The Netflix show premieres just a few weeks after Saget’s 66th birthday.

On that day, Stamos expressed his affection for his on-screen brother-in-law by posting a photo of him and Saget on the beach. “Death ends a life, not a relationship,” Stamos wrote, quoting famed actor Jack Lemmon. He went on to say, “Bobby, have a wonderful birthday. I adore you and miss you terribly.”

Rizzo responded to Stamos’ post with the following message: “There have never been more accurate words said. Brother, I adore you.”

This Friday, June 10, Dirty Daddy: The Bob Saget Tribute will be accessible to watch worldwide.
