About Bharath University:-
The BIHER (Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research) which is also known as BIST (Bharath Institute of Science and Technology), informally Bharath University, and formerly Bharath Engineering College are a private and believed university and an Indian Institute of Higher Education located in Chennai, India.
It is recognized by the UGC (University Grants Commission) and is accredited by the NAAC (National Assessment and Accreditation Council) with the highest ‘A’ grade. It is also approved by the AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education).

Bharath University Eligibility Criteria
B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture:-
A pass in 10+2 or it is equivalent with minimum 50 per cent aggregate in Physics, Maths, and Chemistry & Biology.
B.Tech:-
A pass in 10+2 or it is equivalent with a minimum 50% aggregate in Maths, Chemistry and Physics.
For Bio-Engineering Departments a Pass in 10+2 or it is equivalent with a Minimum 50% aggregate in Chemistry, Physics and Maths/ Bio.
- Arts:-
Any Undergraduate with 60% marks or first-class or equivalent.
B.Arch:-
“No applicants, with less than 50 per cent marks in aggregate, shall be admitted to the architecture course unless applicants have passed an examination at the end of the 10+2 scheme of Senior School Certificate Examination or equivalent with Mathematics as a subject of examinations at the 10+2 level”
A pass in the NATA (National Aptitude Test in Architecture) was conducted by the council of Architecture. However, the applicants have to apply in the prescribed application form for admission to B.Arch. Program.
