At Disney World, every day is exciting. But after a physical altercation between two families that sent at least one person to the hospital, things got a little out of hand.
According to the blog The Walt Disney World Today, the altercation started at the Magic Kingdom theme park in Florida. To see a play at Mickey’s PhilharMagic theater, the two families lined up.
One of the families’ women broke off the conversation to go get a phone she had forgotten on their chair for electric conveyance vehicles. She attempted to rejoin her family in line, but the other family in the queue wouldn’t allow her to rejoin her family.
A physical confrontation involving at least 20 people quickly developed from a cursing-filled verbal altercation, causing a commotion outside the theater. Security personnel got involved after a while and eventually stopped the altercation.
The incident left one man with a severe cut to his chin who needed to be taken away in an ambulance, while other participants just had minor wounds.
The Orange County Sheriff’s Office reports that three people were detained for misdemeanor violence.

After onlookers captured the fracas on their phones with videos and images, the social media world was ablaze with the frantic altercation. Even though the TikTok original video was removed, smaller versions continued to circulate on Twitter and Instagram.
Children may be seen sobbing in bystander recordings as people yell for security to intervene and calm the situation down. Evidently, things became so tense that witnesses had to seek safety and even shelter their children to prevent any accidents.
“I do not know what precipitated this brawl,” a witness to the altercation told FOX 35 News. When we arrived, it seemed to have taken two minutes or so for two security personnel to show up. Nearly five minutes later, deputies showed up.
The altercation had place at Disney World in Florida. While the families waited to enter Mickey’s PhilharMagic theater for a performance, they visited Orlando’s Magic Kingdom.
When the videos first appeared online, users appeared astonished, and several expressed incredulity that such an occurrence could occur at Disney World.
Some users attempted to investigate the causes of the altercation, which included the heat, lengthy lineups, and pricey rides.

The Disney World blog reports that it has not yet been determined whether either family intended to file a complaint. However, according to reports, the family—all of whose members were sporting red shorts—”stole or smashed various personal belongings belonging to their opponents.” Mobile phones and high-end clothing were among them.
Fights at Disney Parks are on the rise, suggesting that ‘The Happiest Place on Earth’ may not be living up to its name. Since the pandemic, there have reportedly been more conflicts, with the Florida theme park reporting six incidences this year alone.
It was the second disturbance the theme park has seen in recent months when a family fight broke out. On May 9, a woman who was watching the fireworks display at Walt Disney World received head injuries after arguing with a couple about where to stand for the event.
